Within the Scope of TÜBİTAK BİGG Program, BİG Startup Consortium Awaits Its Startups in 2023!

Due to the effects of the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake disaster throughout our country, the Higher Education Council decided to complete the spring semester of the 2022-2023 academic year through distance education. The BIGG promotional event will be held online. One-on-one meetings will be held after the event. Necessary information about the meetings will be shared at the event.

Information about the Program:

Taking part in the new partnership structure with Karadeniz Technical University Technology Transfer Application and Research Center (KTU TTM), which was again authorized by TÜBİTAK as the Implementing Organization in 2023; Entrepreneurs who apply to BİGGirişim implementing organization for the TÜBİTAK 1512 BİGG program carried out in partnership with Artvin Çoruh University, Bayburt University, Giresun University, Gümüşhane University, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University, Trabzon University and Vakıfbank, within the scope of the program; "Business Idea Verification", "Canvas Business Model", "Business Plan Preparation", "Effective Presentation Techniques" etc. They will be able to benefit from free training, consultancy and mentoring services in many areas from the business idea to the company establishment stage.

"1512 Entrepreneurship Support Program (BİGG)", one of TÜBİTAK's entrepreneurship supports, which aims to realize business ideas that will contribute to the economy and establish startup companies, supports your technology and innovation-oriented business ideas with a 100% prepaid grant of 450,000₺.

The support period is a maximum of 18 months, including additional periods, and you are expected to produce a working prototype at the end of the project.

Application Conditions:

• Being a student enrolled in any associate, bachelor's, master's or doctoral program or graduating from related programs.
• Not having previously received support within the scope of the Ministry of Industry and Technology Technopreneurship Capital Support or the 2nd Phase of the TÜBİTAK 1512 Program.
• Not having a partnership in any company as of the preliminary application date.
